Children's Social Worker - Assessment Team

About the Role

Cambridgeshire County Council is seeking experienced and motivated Children''s Social Workers to join our Assessment Teams across East and South Cambridgeshire.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead statutory assessments, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery
• Undertake strategy discussions and Section 47 enquiries
• Prepare and present detailed court reports under Sections 7, 37, and 31
• Complete SWET assessments and develop effective care plans
• Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to safeguard children
• Maintain a manageable caseload of approximately 20 cases
