      <description>Location: Walsall | Salary: &amp;pound;38683 - &amp;pound;39592/annum Overtime &amp;pound;14:00 per hr | Type: Permanent | About Us:  Affinity Children’s Care is a family run residential childcare provider, offering a variety of residential placements to young people between the ages of 8 – 18 who may display emotional and challenging behaviours. The young people placed within our services have often experienced significant adversity and trauma in their young lives and may no longer able to reside within their familial / foster home. Our aim is to create a safe and sustainable nurturing environment for our young people and a developmental and rewarding workplace for our care team. We ensure our team(s) adhere to Ofsted standards and guidelines referencing the Children’s Act and Children’s Care Standards, Ofsted is the looked after children’s regulatory body.   Role:  We have an exciting opportunity within Affinity Children’s Care Ltd to work as a therapeutic Children’s Senior Residential Support Worker, working with young people between the ages of 8 -18. The working pattern is based on a 3 week-rolling rota basis, calculated at 56.4 hours per week (sleeps included), equating to 1 day on, 2 days off (07:30am-10:30pm + sleep and 30 minute handover the next day).
