Key Responsibilities:

• Support children and young people in a residential setting, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Build trusting relationships to promote emotional and behavioural development.
• Assist with daily routines, including personal care, activities, and education support.
• Work effectively as part of a team to deliver high-quality care.
• Participate in shift patterns, including long days and sleep-ins, to provide continuous support.
• Maintain accurate records and follow care plans.
• Promote a positive, caring environment that encourages growth and resilience.

Requirements:

• A full UK Driving Licence is essential.
• Motivated, resilient, and adaptable to challenging situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
• Previous experience in residential childcare or a similar setting is desirable but not essential.
• A caring and compassionate attitude towards children and young people.
