Children's Residential Support Worker

Do you have a passion for making a difference in the lives of children? Connect2SocialWork are looking for a dedicated Support Worker to work in a 3-bed EBD children''s home in Ilford,

The main purpose of the job is to advise, assist and support young people, ensuring that their welfare is safeguarded at all times.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Secondary Education (essential) / NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
• Awareness of children''s needs and safeguarding issues
• Good communication skills
• Emotional resilience in working with challenging behaviours
• Previous experience of working within a team

RATE OF PAY:

• Up to -13.50 per hour
• Sleep-ins paid at -50/sleep
• Working pattern: 4 days on, 2 days off (includes weekends and sleep-ins)
