Children's Residential Support Worker

Do you have a passion for making a difference in the lives of children? Connect2SocialWork are looking for dedicated Support Workers to work in a 3-bed EBD children''s home in Herne Bay, Kent.

The main purpose of the job is to advise, assist and support young people, ensuring that their welfare is safeguarded at all times.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Secondary Education (essential) - Childcare qualification NVQ Level 3
• Current clean driving licence
• Understanding challenging behaviour and methods of control
• Good communication skills
• Knowledge of childcare legislation
• Previous experience of working within a team in a children''s residential setting

RATE OF PAY:

• Up to -13.50 per hour
• Sleep-ins paid at -50/sleep

WORKING PATTERN:

• 4 days on, 2 days off
• 1 sleep-in per week
