Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum (DOE)

- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 3 years'' experience working within children''s residential care
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager ready to step into registration
- Experience supporting children and young people with Learning Disabilities (LD) and/or Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, Children''s Homes Regulations, Quality Standards and safeguarding legislation
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop and manage a high-performing team
- Experience managing budgets, staffing and service performance
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Child-centred approach with a passion for delivering outstanding outcomes
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Lead the day-to-day management and overall operation of a 2-bed children''s residential home
- Hold responsibility for ensuring the home remains fully compliant with Ofsted regulations and statutory requirements
- Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, therapeutic and child-focused environment
- Lead, mentor and develop the staff team, promoting a positive and supportive culture
- Oversee recruitment, supervision, performance management and staff development
- Ensure effective safeguarding practices are embedded throughout the service
- Manage budgets, rotas and the overall operational performance of the home
- Develop and review care plans, risk assessments and placement plans to achieve positive outcomes
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with local authorities, social workers, families and other professionals
- Drive continuous improvement and prepare the home for Ofsted inspections
- Play a key role in shaping and developing the home''s flexible service model during an exciting period of organisational growth
