      <description>Location: Oldham | Salary: &amp;pound;40/hour | Type: Temporary | Our client Oldham Council is looking for a Children''s Advanced Practitioner to join their Children in care team.  This role is for a full time, (5 days per week), experienced qualified social Worker who has the knowledge and experience fulfil the role as an Advanced Practitioner and to join one of our 4 Teams within the Children in Our Care service in Oldham.  Teams are made up of 1 TM, 1 AP &amp; up to 6 SW''s.  You would hold a small case load on average of up to 15 children and Young People in LA care and to the expectations would be to review progress and develop their care plans to best meet their individual needs and all that this entails which would leave you with the capacity to undertake the additional responsibilities of the Advanced Practitioner to offer additional support to the TM and SW''s including students and ASYE''s. For example this would include, but would not be limited to: organising and facilitating group reflective supervision for member of the Team, holding learning circles, chairing Care planning meetings where appropriate on children and YP not allocated to you but a SW on the team, offering 1:1 advise and support and specific tasks as directed by the TM.   ...</description>
