Children Support Worker

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our new Children Home. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and possess strong communication skills. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing assistance and care to children, ensuring their well-being and development. Your responsibilities will include implementing care plans, engaging with children in meaningful activities, and maintaining a safe environment. Responsibilities Provide support and assistance to children in various settings, including home and community environments. Develop and implement individual care plans tailored to each child''s needs. Engage children in educational and recreational activities to promote their development. Maintain effective communication with children, families, and other professionals involved in the child''s care. Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times. Assist with daily living tasks as needed, including personal care and household duties. Document progress and report any concerns regarding the child''s behaviour or development. Collaborate with team members to create a supportive atmosphere for both children and families. Specifically take account of the choices, needs and wishes of each young person, involving young people in their own plans and day to day decisions were appropriate.
