Residential Care Worker (Children''s Home)Pay: £26,400 to £27,360Location: Doncaster Reporting to: Senior Residential Worker / Deputy Manager / Registered ManagerAbout the RoleWe are looking for a committed Residential Care Worker to support children and young people in a residential setting. You will provide high-quality, therapeutic care, helping to meet their emotional, social, and developmental needs while ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times.This role involves shift work, including evenings, weekends, sleep-ins, and bank holidays.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide safe, nurturing, and relationship-based care to children and young peopleSupport care plans, risk assessments, and daily routinesBuild positive, trusting relationships and act as a role modelPromote education, health, and personal development outcomesAct as a key worker, supporting individual needs and goalsMaintain accurate records, reports, and case files in line with regulationsWork in partnership with social workers, schools, health professionals, and familiesSupport young people to access activities, advocacy, and servicesContribute to a safe and well-maintained home environmentSafeguarding and ComplianceFollow all safeguarding and child protection proceduresEnsure compliance with Ofsted standards and relevant legislationSupport safe administration of medicationReport concerns and incidents appropriatelyGeneral DutiesWork flexibly on a rota basis, including sleep-insDrive company vehicles (where ..... full job details .....
