Children Panel Solicitor

Eventus Legal are seeking a Children Panel Solicitor / Legal Executive to join a specialist Care team in Birmingham, West Midlands. This is ideally a full-time, permanent job, although applicants wishing to work four days per week will also be considered. A salary in the region of £65,000 is available, with individual requirements open to discussion. The job also offers hybrid working with 1 day in the office per week and the remaining days remote working, 25 days'' annual leave on joining rising to 28 days with service, private medical insurance and Group Life Assurance. Role Responsibilities As a Children Panel Solicitor / Legal Executive, you will manage a varied caseload of public children law matters and provide clear, sensitive advice to clients throughout care proceedings. Take ownership of a caseload of Care and public children law matters Represent parents, children and guardians where appropriate within public law proceedings Prepare case notes, witness statements, client care correspondence and other legal documentation Handle Legal Aid applications and use the CCMS portal effectively Undertake your own advocacy and represent clients at hearings where appropriate Carry out file reviews and maintain high standards of case management and compliance Work towards realistic fee earning targets while maintaining excellent client care Person Specification This opportunity would suit an experienced public children law specialist who is confident managing complex cases and ..... full job details .....
