This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Legal Assistant looking to develop their career within Children Law / Child Care, working alongside experienced solicitors on a varied caseload involving often complex and sensitive matters. The team represents parents, family members and children across a range of public and private law proceedings, including care proceedings, pre-proceedings work, Special Guardianship applications and matters involving Local Authorities and social services. The Role You will provide comprehensive legal and administrative support to the Child Care team, assisting fee earners with the day-to-day management of their caseloads. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting solicitors with the management of Child Care and Family Law matters Preparing, drafting and formatting legal documents, court applications and correspondence Accurately typing and transcribing dictation Preparing court bundles and ensuring court deadlines and directions are complied with Liaising with clients, Local Authorities, Cafcass, Courts, experts and other professionals Managing correspondence and maintaining ..... full job details .....
