Children and Young Person Support Worker

Duties Assist children and young people with daily activities, ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all timesImplement and follow personalised care plans in collaboration with families, social workers, and other professionalsSupport children in educational, recreational, and social activities to promote development and independenceProvide emotional support and encouragement to foster confidence and resilienceDrive children to appointments, activities, or outings as required, ensuring safe transportationMaintain accurate records of support provided, behaviour observations, and progress reportsCommunicate effectively with colleagues, families, and external agencies to ensure cohesive care deliveryUphold safeguarding policies and procedures at all times, recognising signs of distress or concern Qualifications Experience working with children or in childcare settings is highly desirableValid driving licence with the ability to drive children safely to various locationsExcellent communication skills to liaise effectively with children, families, and team ..... full job details .....
