Childcare Worker Location: Redhill, Surrey Salary: 28,129 per annum Contract: Full-time, Permanent About the Role We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Worker to join a professional care team supporting children and young people with complex needs, including emotional and behavioural challenges. This full-time role involves providing consistent, nurturing, and structured care within a supportive residential environment. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality day-to-day care and emotional support to children and young people Build positive, trusting relationships that promote emotional well-being and development Support children in achieving their personal, social, and educational goals Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging home environment in line with safeguarding and health and safety policies Assist with care planning, daily routines, and behaviour management strategies Maintain accurate records and contribute to reports for internal and external professionals Promote independence, confidence, and self-esteem through tailored support and encouragement What We''re Looking For Previous experience working with children or young people, particularly in a residential or supported care setting Understanding of trauma-informed care and behavioural support strategies Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills Ability to stay calm under pressure and handle challenging behaviours constructively Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or ..... full job details .....
