Location: Knutsford | Salary: £17 - £18/hour | Type: Contract | Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Family Time/Childcare Worker to join Cheshire East Council on an initial 3-6 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.- Key Responsibilities Supervise contact sessions between children and their parents or family members Ensure all interactions are safe, appropriate, and child-centred Provide a supportive and neutral presence during visits Observe and accurately record behaviour, interactions, and any concerns Follow safeguarding procedures and report concerns appropriately Set up and prepare contact spaces to ensure a welcoming environment Manage difficult situations calmly and professionally Work closely with social workers, family support teams, and other professionals Promote positive communication and healthy relationships where appropriate Requirements: Experience working with children or vulnerable individuals Good communication and record-keeping skills Full UK Drivers Licence Please apply with an up to date CV ASAP if this role would be of interest to you.
