Are you a Childcare Solicitor looking for your next move with a well-established South Wales practice?

I''m working with a respected law firm with a strong presence across the South Wales Valleys, who are looking to strengthen their Family & Childcare team.

With offices across Blackwood, Aberdare and Merthyr Tydfil, this is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor who wants to build their career within a supportive team while working on a varied and meaningful childcare caseload.

You''ll handle a varied caseload of public law childcare matters, representing parents, children and other parties involved in care proceedings.

You''ll have the opportunity to:

• Manage your own caseload of care and childcare proceedings

• Represent parents and other clients in public law proceedings

• Attend Family Court hearings

• Advise clients throughout the lifecycle of proceedings

• Prepare statements, applications and other court documentation

• Work alongside experienced solicitors and support staff

• Develop your advocacy and case management skills

• Build strong relationships with clients and other professionals involved in proceedings

We''re keen to hear from qualified solicitors at different stages of their career, including NQ solicitors through to experienced Childcare Solicitors.

You''ll ideally have:

• Experience in public law childcare / care proceedings

• A strong understanding of the Children Act and relevant family law procedure

• Excellent client-care and communication skills

• The ability to manage a caseload effectively

• Confidence dealing with the Family Court and other professionals

• A genuine interest in developing your career within childcare law

Children Panel accreditation would be advantageous but isn''t essential, depending on experience.
