Childcare Paralegal

Our client has a newly created position for a Paralegal to join their Care Proceedings and Adoption team based in Kettering.

Working in a small, highly experienced Childcare team the ideal candidate will bring previous Childcare and Legal Aid experience to the team and have excellent client facing skills with a demonstrable passion for Childcare work.

Acting for family members, friends and foster carers, you will be exposed to a wide range of Childcare issues including guiding clients on pre-proceedings meeting and Emergency Protection Orders, placement orders and the care case itself.

We are looking for candidates with strong administration skills.- Your role will including drafting paperwork, preparing court bundles, billing clients and dealing with telephone calls into the team.- You will also be able to attend Public Law Outline meetings.
