Childcare Lecturer

Morgan Hunt is currently recruiting for an experienced Childcare Lecturer to join a well-established college in West Yorkshire on a full-time temporary contract. Role Details Position: Childcare Lecturer (Level 1 and 2) Location: West Yorkshire Contract: Full-time, Temporary Pay Rate: Daily Rate Negotiable Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging and effective Level 1 and 2 Childcare lessons to students of varying abilities. Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with awarding body requirements. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement. Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress and assessments. Contribute to a positive learning environment that motivates and supports learners to achieve their potential. Essential Requirements Previous experience teaching level 1 and 2 Childcare in a Further Education college. A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, or equivalent). A relevant degree or recognised qualification in Maths or a related subject. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage learners with diverse needs. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
