In this full-time role, you will help ensure that all eligible children can access the childcare they need. Working with families and early years providers, you will build positive relationships and support smooth transitions into childcare. The service works closely with schools, early years providers, partners and colleagues across the council to support the effective delivery of early education and childcare entitlements for Hertfordshire residents.About the roleUnder the Childcare Act 2006, the local authority has statutory duties to secure sufficient childcare and provide information, advice and support to parents. Childcare brokerage is one way the authority helps families, particularly those needing additional support, to access suitable childcare.
