About the roleYou''ll lead, motivate and supervise a team of Social Workers. You''ll make sure children, young people and families get a safe, timely, high-quality service that meets the requirements of the Children Act and the Council''s policies. Reporting to a Service Manager, you''ll provide clear management oversight and decision-making, with a strong focus on quality assurance and performance. Key responsibilitiesProvide regular, reflective professional supervision to Social Workers, including ASYEsPrioritise and allocate casework so families'' needs are met promptlyMonitor team performance through case scrutiny, audits and KPIsEnsure statutory duties, assessments and plans meet legal and regulatory standardsMaintain high standards of case recording and reportingChair meetings and keep communication within the team and service effectiveSupport recruitment, induction, training and staff development, including PRandDsManage budgets and contribute to service planning and development What you''ll needSocial Work qualification and current Social Work England registrationTeam management experience within children''s social care, ideally CIN/CPStrong knowledge of child ..... full job details .....
