Childcare Solicitor Taunton/Exeter Hybrid working Up to £65k (Dependent on experience) This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, multi-office law firm with a strong reputation for providing high-quality legal services across the South West. With continued growth and investment in its Family team, the firm is looking to appoint a Child Law Solicitor who is passionate about making a genuine difference to the lives of children and families. The successful candidate will join a supportive and collaborative team, working on a varied caseload of public family law matters. This role offers flexibility with hybrid working, genuine career progression, and the opportunity to develop your expertise within a respected and growing practice. What you''ll be doing: Managing your own caseload of public child law matters from instruction through to conclusion. Representing parents, guardians and children in care proceedings, supervision orders, emergency protection orders and adoption matters. Advising vulnerable clients with empathy and professionalism throughout the legal process. Conducting advocacy in the Family Court and liaising with Counsel where appropriate. Preparing legal documentation, witness statements and court bundles. Working closely with local authorities, social services and other professionals involved in child protection cases.
