Child Contact Centre Coordinator

We are recruiting for a Child Contact Centre Coordinator to lead a well-established service supporting children and families across South Shields and the surrounding area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a values-driven organisation and play a key role in delivering safe, structured, and supportive contact sessions for families. Key Responsibilities Coordinate the day-to-day running of a busy Child Contact Centre Lead, supervise, and support sessional contact staff Ensure safe, high-quality supervised and supported contact sessions Work directly with children and families experiencing complex circumstances Manage safeguarding and risk in line with best practice Maintain strong relationships with families and partner agencies Requirements Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Social Care, or related field Minimum 2 years experience in family support, social care, or children s services Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection Experience working with families in conflict or challenging situations Excellent communication and organisational skills Desirable: Higher qualification (e.g. Cert HE or equivalent) HCPC registration Working Hours Full-time 35 hours per week Alternate weekends (9am 6pm) Flexible midweek working Salary ..... full job details .....
