Child Care Solicitor

A forward-thinking law firm based in Shrewsbury, renowned for delivering expert legal services is seeking a Child Care Solicitor 2 years plus PQE. This role offers hybrid working but does require 1-2 days in the office dependent on court commitments. The roleYou will join a reputable Child Care team providing expert legal advice and representation in all aspects of child care law, supporting clients through sensitive and complex matters while contributing to the continued growth of our practice.Key ResponsibilitiesAdvise clients on all aspects of child care law, including care proceedings, child protection and related family law mattersDraft and review legal documents, statements and court applicationsRepresent clients in court, including advocacy at hearings and case conferencesBuild strong client relationships, providing clear, compassionate and professional guidanceKeep up to date with developments in family and child care law, sharing knowledge within the teamCollaborate closely with colleagues across the firm to ensure comprehensive client serviceRequirementsQualified solicitor with 2 years'' PQE in child care/family lawStrong advocacy and client advisory skillsSound knowledge of the Children Act 1989 and current child care law developmentsExcellent communication, drafting and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage a ..... full job details .....
