Child and Family Exploitation Practitioners

Warwickshire Base Warwickshire Base aims: To protect children and young people from exploitation To empower children and young people who are abused through exploitation, or vulnerable to such abuse, to develop strategies that will enable them to reduce harm, and to achieve their potential. To reduce the risk of vulnerable children and young people being abused through exploitation, through awareness raising activities with children, young people, parents and professionals working with children and young people. To work directly with children and young people who are abused through child exploitation. To support the work with parents/carers whose child/ young person is abused through exploitation or vulnerable to abuse. You will be required: Deliver best practice in CSE/CCE and keeping children safe. Provide person-centred 1:1 or group work support to children and young people who are victims of exploitation. Demonstrate a working knowledge of Barnardo''s ''4 A''s model'' and trauma-informed responses to abuse. Provide guidance to professionals to help and support children and families navigate the complex systems of social care and criminal justice. Work as part of a co-located specialist team, where appropriate supporting Police operations and maintaining robust information sharing pathways to inform multi-agency responses.
