Chief Operating Officer - Food Producer Location: Leicestershire Salary: 110,000 - 140,000 per annum (dependent on experience) + excellent package + possible share options / equity participation. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Chief Operating Officer to join an innovative food concept producer based from a single location site in Leicestershire. With a turnover of 75 million, having started from scratch 6 years ago, our client is now rapidly growing and seeking a Chief Operating Officer to drive operational excellence and support further business growth within the UK and European market. As the Chief Operating Officer, you will play a crucial role in streamlining operations, managing and improving production lines, overseeing health, safety, and environmental improvements, and leading a team to ensure the business continues to meet and exceed market demands. The Chief Operating Officer will also take the lead in negotiating supplier and supply chain contracts, as well as keeping customers happy. The Chief Operating Officer role is a new role which has arisen to enable the founding CEO of the business to take on a more strategic role on the Board.
