We are looking for a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to drive the execution and scaling of GenLayer''s marketing initiatives. With our brand established, community thriving, and strategy in place, the focus of this role is to accelerate growth, optimize user acquisition, deepen community engagement, and amplify GenLayer''s presence as a leader in the decentralized AI and blockchain space. This is an executive-level position for a seasoned marketing expert with a proven track record in scaling marketing functions at high-growth blockchain or web3 companies. Backed by leading investors, we are seeking a marketing leader who can turn our strong foundation into global impact.Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a dynamic marketing strategy that aligns with the company''s business goals and establishes position as a leader in the blockchain and AI industryLead brand positioning and messaging to effectively communicate the company''s unique value propositions to different target audiencesOversee the creation of engaging marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, social media, content, events, and influencer marketingFoster partnerships and collaborations within the blockchain ecosystem to enhance the company''s reach and influenceMonitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for differentiation and growthBuild and manage a high-performing marketing team capable of driving ambitious growth targetsEstablish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, providing regular reports to the executive teamCollaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure alignment between marketing initiatives and product developmentDrive community engagement through innovative strategies to grow the user base and promote advocacy within the blockchain spaceRequirements

Proven track-record in a CMO or similar function at a blockchain company5+ years of experience in marketing leadership roles, with a significant portion spent in the blockchain industryA crypto-native, with deep understanding of Layer 1 and Layer 2 blockchain protocols, with the ability to translate technical concepts into compelling marketing messagesProven track record of scaling companies from early-stage to success through effective marketing strategiesStrong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse marketing teamExceptional communication and presentation skills, with a keen eye for detailAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a proactive and results-driven mindsetEstablished network within the blockchain community, with a track record of successful partnerships and collaborationsActive and established X/twitter presenceBenefits
