Overview

The Kite Academy Trust is a family of nine primary schools across Surrey and Hampshire. The Trust works as one team to ensure every pupil receives an excellent education and equal opportunity to thrive. The CFOO role will work with the CEO and executive team to set strategic objectives and ensure delivery across business service functions including HR, Finance, Estates and IT.The Trust is seeking an exceptional Chief Financial and Operations Officer to reinvigorate its functions, inspire business teams, and lead with the Trust values of positivity, integrity, respect, resilience and aspiration.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop the business service functions—HR, Finance, Estates and IT—to support consistent and excellent outcomes for the schools.Provide clear, balanced strategic advice and reporting to the CEO and Board of Trustees.Work as an accomplished strategic thinker with a track record of delivering projects, and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.Develop systems and processes to support successful growth and enhance current operational practices.Qualifications and experience

Experienced and proactive strategic leader with a track record of delivering on projects and leading teams.Strong communication skills and ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders.Good understanding of the education sector and MAT context; passion for improving outcomes for children.Comfortable working with the CEO and Board of Trustees and providing expert advice on strategic objectives and operations.How to apply
