Now, as it expands to deliver the new Visitor Levy and national register of visitor accommodation providers, the WRA is seeking a visionary leader to guide the organisation through its next chapter.As CEO, you''ll:Act as the public face of tax administration in Wales, engaging with Ministers, the Senedd, local authorities, and stakeholders across the UK and beyond.Provide strategic leadership and direction, inspiring over 100 highly skilled colleagues across 14 professions.Champion a digital-first approach, delivering services that are easy, fair, and sustainable.Serve as Accounting Officer, directly accountable to the Senedd for a £10-15m budget and revenues of around £0.5bn.Shape the future of a growing, services-based organisation - building strong partnerships across Wales.About YouWe are seeking an ambitious and compassionate leader with:Senior-level experience in a complex operational environment, ideally linked to tax or public services.Exceptional leadership and governance skills, with a proven track record of inspiring high-performing teams.Strong financial and risk management expertise.The credibility to command the confidence of Ministers, stakeholders, and the public.Experience of digital transformation in a public-facing context.Welsh language skills are not essential, but the successful candidate will be supported to learn and develop them.
