Role Overview : We are seeking a visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Co-Founder to join our founding team. This leader will take ownership of the overall strategic direction and operational success of the company, driving growth and ensuring we effectively scale our solutions to meet the needs of underserved communities.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

Co-develop and articulate Naahla''s vision and long-term strategy, ensuring alignment with our mission of sustainable water access.

Operational Oversight:

Oversee all aspects of company operations, ensuring efficient implementation of strategies and adherence to company goals.

Development:

Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.

Fundraising Leadership:

Spearhead fundraising initiatives through grants, venture capital, and impact investors to secure necessary resources for growth.

Partnerships Development:

Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with governments, NGOs, distributors, and local stakeholders to enhance our operational footprint.

Financial Management:

Make key financial decisions, manage budgets, and ensure fiscal responsibility to drive sustainable growth.

Representation:

Serve as the primary representative of Naahla to investors, partners, media, and at industry events, effectively communicating our mission and impact.

You Might Be a Fit If You

Are an experienced entrepreneur or business leader with a proven track record in strategic planning and operational management

Have domain experience in renewable energy, clean water solutions, or climate tech

Understand the challenges of scaling businesses in emerging markets and off-grid communities

Are comfortable leading both high-level strategy and day-to-day operations

Have experience with early-stage fundraising and pitching to impact or VC investors

Are motivated by mission-driven work and committed to creating significant social impact

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with solar systems, clean energy distribution, or related technologies

Familiarity with water access or irrigation markets in Sub-Saharan Africa or similar regions

Proven success in scaling a start-up from early stage to growth
