Job Title: SACT Trained /Chemo Nurse Trust: Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust Location: Nick Jonas Unit, Royal Hampshire County Hospital, Romsey Road, Winchester, Hampshire SO22 5DG Days: Monday to Friday Hours: 08:00 - 16:00 Duration: 3 months (Possible Extension) Start Date: As soon as possible Requirement: • SACT-trained Registered Nurse • Relevant nursing experience • CV • References x 2 • DBS • Up-to-date mandatory training • Ability to work Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:00 Description: We are currently recruiting an experienced SACT Trained Registered Nurse to work on a long-term agency assignment at the Nick Jonas Unit, Royal Hampshire County Hospital (RHCH), Winchester. This is an excellent opportunity for a suitably experienced nurse to work within a specialist oncology/haematology setting, supporting the delivery of systemic anti-cancer treatment (SACT) and providing high-quality patient-centred care. Key Responsibilities: • Provide safe and effective nursing care to patients receiving SACT • Administer systemic anti-cancer treatments in accordance with local policies and clinical guidelines • Monitor patients before, during and after treatment • Recognise and respond appropriately to treatment-related side effects and complications • Undertake clinical assessments and monitor patients'' conditions • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation • Provide patient education, advice and emotional support • Work collaboratively with the ..... full job details .....
