You will be working as part of a team alongside teachers and the senior science technician undertaking practical duties when appropriate and also support students within the classes. It is required for you to fully understand upto GCSE or A-Level Chemistry Curriculum to support accordingly. Your duties will include preparation of materials and equipment of science lessons, carrying out risk assessments, keep check of stock and disposing of waste appropriately. Alongside the technician role you will also be expected to support students within the class occasionally - especially during practical sessions.
