Chemistry Technician

Talent STEM are partnering with an innovative scientific organisation operating within the analytical testing and laboratory services sector to recruit a Chemistry Technician for their laboratory team on an initial 6 month contract.This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to begin their career within a laboratory environment. The organisation provides specialist analytical services to a diverse range of industries and offers structured training, professional development and long-term career progression opportunities.The role would suit somebody who has recently completed a degree in Chemistry, Forensic Science or a related scientific discipline and is looking to gain valuable hands-on laboratory experience within a commercial setting. Key responsibilities- Preparing samples for chemical analysis- Supporting laboratory testing activities in accordance with established procedures- Operating and maintaining laboratory instrumentation and equipment- Recording, reviewing and reporting analytical data accurately- Assisting with method development and laboratory investigations where required- Ensuring compliance with laboratory quality standards and procedures- Supporting routine laboratory housekeeping and stock control activities- Following health and safety procedures and maintaining a safe working environment- Working closely with senior scientists and laboratory personnel to support project delivery Candidate profileWe are interested in speaking with ..... full job details .....
