Chemistry Technician

Our client based locally to Hersham are seeking a Chemistry Technician to join their team. This role will be starting in September and will be an ongoing temp role. To be considered you must have a relevant recent degree.

Duties:

• Ensure that equipment and resources requested by staff are in place for practical lessons and demonstrations
• Assist in conducting risk assessments and ensuring safe working practices at all times.
• Undertake the preparation of lesson material
• Work to prepare and develop new experimental methodologies
• Assist staff and students in equipment usage

Requirements:

• Recent degree in Chemistry or similar
• Strong communication skills written and spoken
• Excellent attention to detail
• Available immediately to start
