The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (aged 11-16) with the fundamental principles of chemistry and their relevance to the world around them. Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Science Teacher lessons with a focus on Chemistry to Key Stages 3 and 4. Prepare students effectively for GCSE Science examinations, with a strong emphasis on chemical concepts. Foster a stimulating and inquiry-based learning environment for scientific exploration and experimentation in chemistry. Assess and monitor student progress in Science (Chemistry), providing clear and constructive feedback to support their understanding. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Chemistry or Science with a strong Chemistry background. Demonstrated experience teaching Science Teacher lessons with a focus on Chemistry at Key Stages 3 and 4. A strong and comprehensive knowledge of chemical principles and effective teaching methodologies.
