The Role:

• Full Time: Monday to Friday
• You will be required to teach Chemistry across KS3 and KS4, with the ability to teach all three sciences at KS3.
• Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality science lessons tailored to diverse learning needs.
• Incorporating practical experiments and theoretical concepts to enhance student understanding.
• Monitoring, assessing, and evaluating student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Collaborating with colleagues to develop innovative schemes of work and share best practices.
• Potential for leadership responsibilities within the department for experienced candidates or those seeking career progression.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Be a qualified teacher (QTS) with a degree in Chemistry or a related field.
• Have experience teaching Chemistry across KS3 and KS4, with the ability to deliver all three sciences at KS3.
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and a passion for science education.
• Have a proven track record of planning and delivering successful science lessons that engage students and support academic progress.
• Show an interest in leadership opportunities, whether through previous department leadership experience or a willingness to take on extra responsibilities.
• Hold a current DBS or be willing to obtain one.
