Chemistry Teacher

Are you a brilliant Chemistry Teacher looking for a fantastic temporary part-time opportunity? We're on the lookout for someone special to join our Outstanding mixed school in Brent, starting as soon as possible. This is a chance to ignite a real passion for chemistry in our students, helping them unravel the mysteries of matter in a vibrant and incredibly supportive environment right here in West London.

What you'll be doing:

• You'll be designing and delivering captivating Chemistry lessons, sparking curiosity about everything from atoms to reactions.
• It's all about guiding our students through key chemical concepts, getting hands-on with exciting experiments, and really honing their analytical skills.
• You'll create a safe, stimulating lab atmosphere where students feel completely at ease exploring the world of chemistry and developing their scientific minds.

What we're looking for:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a genuine specialism in Chemistry.
• Ideally, you'll have some experience teaching engaging and effective Chemistry lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4.
• A deep and current grasp of chemical principles, plus that knack for making the subject accessible and relevant to young minds.
• Excellent communication skills, both in and out of the classroom, alongside strong classroom management – and a safe pair of hands in the lab, of course!
