Prospero Teaching is working with a supportive high school that is looking for a Chemistry Teacher for Term 1, January 2026. The school offers an enjoyable working environment with strong and supportive leadership and teaching teams. This is a full-time permanent role. The school is happy to consider teachers of all experience levels.

Responsibilities

Chemistry Teacher

Teaching across Grades 8-12

Term 1, January 2026 start contract

Permanent, full-time position

Interviews will take place as soon as possible

Qualifications

Bachelor''s or Master''s of Education, or Post-Graduate Diploma in Education

Be eligible to work and teach in New Zealand

Received or in the process of applying for NZQA (New Zealand Qualifications Authority)

Received or in the process of registering for EC (Education Council)

Be willing to process a new Certified Criminal Record Check

Be able to offer two professional teaching references covering the last two years
