This is an exciting opportunity to work within a precision engineering environment. Key responsibilities for Chemical Process Operator: Preparing and operating chemical processing equipment and tanks. Cleaning, degreasing, and etching metal components before treatment. Applying chemical conversion coatings, anodising, passivation, or other surface treatments. Monitoring chemical bath concentrations, temperatures, pH, and processing times. Recording process parameters and maintaining accurate production documentation. Inspecting treated parts for quality and compliance with engineering specifications. Following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and aerospace quality standards. Handling, storing, and disposing of hazardous chemicals safely. Performing routine maintenance on processing equipment.
