This practical role focuses on improving a live production process. You will analyse plant performance, investigate problems, optimise process settings and identify opportunities to reduce energy usage, material waste and operating costs. Responsibilities include: Monitoring process and plant-performance data Troubleshooting production and process issues Optimising control parameters and equipment performance Improving output, efficiency and process stability Reducing energy consumption, waste and costs Conducting process trials and root-cause investigations Working with production, maintenance and engineering teams Supporting improvement initiatives and occasional capital projects You should have a degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
