We are currently recruiting an experienced and reliable Chef to work within a busy university catering environment. This role is ideal for a chef who enjoys working in a structured kitchen, preparing fresh meals for students, staff, and visitors while maintaining high food safety and quality standards.andnbsp;

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  

  Preparing and cooking fresh meals in a high-volume university kitchen

• 
  

  Supporting the kitchen team with daily food production

• 
  

  Ensuring all food hygiene and health andamp; safety standards are met

• 
  

  Assisting with menu preparation and service for students and staff

• 
  

  Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment

Requirements:

• 
  

  Previous experience working as a Chef in a professional kitchen

• 
  

  Ability to work efficiently in a busy catering environment

• 
  

  Strong knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety

• 
  

  A valid Enhanced DBS check is required for this role

• 
  

  Reliability and good teamwork skills
