Role: Chef Trainer/Supervisor Location: Greater Manchester Rate: £25 - £35 per hour Contract: Temporary, Full Time Hours: 36 hours per week Eden Brown are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Chef Trainer to join a leading Further Education team in Greater Manchester. The successful candidate will play a key role in supervising, supporting and training trainee chefs, helping students to develop the practical skills, knowledge and professional behaviours required for a successful career within the hospitality and catering industry. Working closely with teaching staff, you will provide hands-on support within our professional training kitchens, ensuring students receive a high standard of practical training and guidance in a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment. Key Responsibilities Supervise and support trainee chef students during practical kitchen sessions. Demonstrate professional cookery techniques, preparation methods and kitchen procedures. Provide practical coaching and guidance to help students develop their culinary skills. Support students in working to professional industry standards. Monitor students progress, providing constructive feedback and encouragement. Promote good standards of food hygiene, health and safety and kitchen cleanliness.
