      <description>Location: Petersfield | Salary: 25000.00-25000.00 Annual | Type: Permanent | Job Overview We are looking for a Junior Chef or Commis Chef to join our established kitchen team. We already have two experienced chefs in place, so this role would suit someone developing their career who wants to build practical skills, confidence and responsibility within a supportive working kitchen.We are not necessarily looking for the finished article. Attitude, reliability, hygiene, organisation and a genuine interest in producing good food are more important than an impressive job title. What we''re offering: The standard position is based on 37 contracted hours per week , normally rostered across five days. Shifts will include a mixture of daytime, evening and weekend work, with straight and split shifts according to business requirements.The salary is £25,000-£29,000 per year , depending on experience and existing skills, plus an equal share of customer tips.For a suitable candidate who would prefer additional earning potential, we may agree a contract of up to 45 hours per week.
