Chef de Partie / Hospital Chef | Elland Full Time | Permanent | 37.5 hours per week |

Spire Elland has a great opportunity for a Chef to come and join there busy catering department

As Chef, you''ll play a key role in delivering a first-class dining experience for our patients, staff and visitors. You''ll prepare and present nutritious, high-quality meals whilst maintaining the highest standards of food safety, hygiene and customer service.

Working closely with the Head Chef and wider hospitality team, you''ll help ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the kitchen and deputise when required.


Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):

• - Preparing and cooking fresh, high-quality meals for patients, staff and visitors
• - Supporting the delivery of specialist dietary requirements and nutritional needs
• - Maintaining excellent standards of food presentation and service
• - Ensuring compliance with food safety, HACCP and health & safety procedures
• - Assisting with stock control, deliveries and kitchen administration
• - Supporting catering for meetings and special events
• - Maintaining a clean, safe and organised kitchen environment
• - Working collaboratively with colleagues across the hospital

Who are we looking for?

We''re keen to hear from chefs who are passionate about producing high-quality food and delivering excellent customer service.

You will ideally have:

• - Previous experience in a busy catering, hospitality or healthcare environment
• - Experience preparing meals for large numbers of people
• - A Level 3 Food Safety qualification
• - Strong communication and teamwork skills
• - A positive and flexible approach
• - The ability to work effectively under pressure
• - A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food quality and hygiene
