Chef Part time, 27.5 hours per weekTerm time, 36 weeks per annum£15,406 per annum (£25,911 pro rata)Burton on Trent, Town Centre CampusWho are we looking for?Burton and South Derbyshire College are seeking to appoint a Chef/Cook who will help and support the day to day commercial running of the food outlet at its main campus.The working hours are Monday-Friday, during term time, between 07:00-13:00.The role is due to start with the new academic year in September 2026.Working as part of a team your main responsibilities will be: To prepare and cook breakfast and lunch within time constraints Overseeing the maintenance and cleanliness of kitchen, equipment, and general storage To ensure deliveries are stored correctly in a timely mannerTo comply with policies in respect of health, safety and environmental management at work, and to ensure the highest standards of kitchen practice and hygieneHelp and support the smooth running of the commercial food hub at Burton South Derbyshire College Applicants should be qualified to, or willing to work towards, Level 2 English and Maths.
