I have a great Chef Manager position available at a lovely Secondary school based in West Yorkshire. This is a Monday to Friday role with a 40 hour contract and core hours being and.30am to 4pm each day with some flexibility required on working hours.

This Chef Manager will help cater for a breakfast service, and lunch service. You will lead a team of a 12-14 and report into an Operations Manager. You will help feed around 800-900 per day. The usual offer will consist of a couple of hot mains, grab and go and deli bar. Experience in Secondary Schools or Universities would be beneficial for this role as primary school catering would not be suitable for this position.

You will need experience as a Chef Manager for this role and be fully confident on all the paper work sides of the job as well as the kitchen operation. You must be comfortable with talking to students and teachers. Volume catering experience is essential as you will be cooking for large numbers on a daily basis.

The Chef Manager will work Term Time only which is 44.6 weeks per year and then have the rest of the year as holidays. This means every Christmas and Easter holidays off work and you will be paid monthly through the year. This role pays £18/Hour
