Chef Lecturer (Part-Time 0.8)Salary: £26.43 - £28.67 per hourHours: 0.8 (Part-Time)Location: BirminghamReed Further Education are seeking a dedicated and experienced Chef Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching across professional cookery programmes up to Level 3. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate culinary professional looking to inspire and develop the next generation of chefs within a Further Education setting.Key Responsibilities:Deliver engaging theory and practical cookery sessions up to Level 3Plan, deliver and review learning programmes and curriculum contentMonitor and track student progress, attendance, and achievementProvide academic and pastoral support as a course leaderCarry out assessments including initial assessments, feedback, and progress reviewsMaintain accurate student records including ILPs and tracking systemsSupport students with study skills, exam preparation, and progressionContribute to enrichment activities, work placements, and tripsEnsure compliance with quality assurance and teaching standardsWork collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching deliveryRequirements:Level 3 qualification in Professional Cookery (or equivalent)Ideally hold a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent)Experience delivering or training within professional cookery or hospitalityStrong organisational and classroom management skillsAbility to support learners with a range of needsThis role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about ..... full job details .....
