Overview We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team at our prestigious restaurant The Vault 327 in Crowthorne. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a keen understanding of food safety standards. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest quality and served promptly to our guests. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed. Follow proper portion control and presentation guidelines for all dishes served. Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices. Qualifications Previous kitchen experience is essential, preferably in a restaurant setting. Culinary experience with a solid understanding of cooking techniques and food preparation methods. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is required.
