_The Punch Bowl Inn is The Lake District''s original gastro pub. Our multi-award-winning, nationally recognised, 2 AA Rosettes restaurant, serves up a classic British and French menu, using seasonally inspired and local ingredients, many of which are sourced from The Punch Bowl Farm. The most famous dishes on our menu are our Twice Baked Cheese Souffle, Creedy Carver Duck Breast and Lemon Tart with Damson Sorbet._We are currently recruiting for a Chef de Partie to join our fun, supportive and down-to-earth team. The new chef will have the opportunity to work across all stations, therefore gaining a real breadth of experience. They will also benefit from on-the-job training, tasting sessions and local ingredients sourcing/foraging in an environment where restaurant exchanges and individual team member awards entry are actively encouraged.We are keen to hear from individuals with experience in similar environments. However, most importantly is the right attitude and we are looking for someone who is hard-working, honest, and reliable as well as a real team player with strong attention to detail and a serious passion for quality food.
