About the Role: We are looking for a reliable and motivated Chef de Partie to join our catering team at a school in SW19. This is a fantastic opportunity for a chef who enjoys steady daytime hours and preparing simple, nutritious meals in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook basic, balanced meals for pupils and staff in line with the set menu.
Assist with daily food preparation, portioning, and service.
Ensure high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness are maintained at all times.
Follow school dietary requirements, allergen guidelines, and food safety policies.
Work as part of a small team to deliver meals efficiently and on time.
Assist with stock rotation, ordering, and minimising food waste.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie, Commis Chef, or in a similar kitchen role.
Basic cooking skills with a focus on producing fresh, simple meals.
A positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic.
Knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety standards (Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate desirable).
Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
