Chef

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pizza preparation and cooking, with the ability to create delicious pizzas that delight our guests.

This role requires a commitment to food safety and quality, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Duties:

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.

Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards.

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.

Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.

Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain hygiene standards at all times.

Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service periods.

Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.

Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in cooking techniques and best practices.

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen setting.

Strong culinary skills with an understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.

Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for maintaining hygiene in the kitchen.

Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, demonstrating the ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards.

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.

Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members and ensuring smooth service delivery.
