Chef/ Cook Overview We are seeking a Chef/ Cook to join our nursery school culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess previous experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management, with a passion for delivering nutritional and healthy dishes. A cooking qualification would desirable or certificates , training in food hygiene, or allergy awareness. Also previous experience in a similar setiting. Hours: Monday- Friday, 8.30am - 5pm , paid holidays and further training, career progression opportunities. No weekends or Evenings! Duties include: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards for children. Manage food production processes, ensuring timely delivery of dishes during service hours Oversee food safety procedures and maintain cleanliness in accordance with health regulations Assist in menu planning and development to meet preferences and seasonal offerings Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock rotation to minimise waste Collaborate with manager to ensure seamless service delivery.
